The Institute shall embark upon programs for further development as per growing needs of the patients and has planned for future expansion to add additional about 20,000 sqm. for providing additional 200 beds complete with all treatment and supportive services. |

Creation of two more similar centres in other parts of Delhi to create the chain of Delhi State Cancer Institute’s for providing seamless cover for complete treatment of cancer patients for the people of entire Delhi at their doorsteps also under consideration.. |

|
|
With installation of the latest technical facilities with modern concepts and with adequate provisions for planned future expansion, the Delhi State Cancer Institute has the potential to be one of the leading chain of international Centres in this field within the next few years. |

Creation of separate OPD-cum-Daycare block at the existing campus comprising General OPD, Private OPD, Screening OPD, Day Care Services – segregated for male, females and pediatric patients - to be able to attend to the ever increasing numbers of patients requiring these facilities. |

Creation of additional block for indoor, operation theatres and ICU at the existing campus |

|
Installation of additional equipments/infrastructure at the existing campus for comprehensive management of patients; academic programs as ‘’deemed university’ in collaboration with reputed international universities/institutions; dedicated R&D programs and for commencing community based outreach programs for public awareness, screening, early diagnosis, palliative care and rehabilitation of these patients. |

Creation of additional set ups in South and West/North Delhi as a ‘chain’ of DSCI to provide seamless cover of facilities for the people of entire Delhi for the long-drawn out treatment and follow up of cancer patients at their door steps. |

|
|
Installation of the ‘coveted’ Heavy Ion (Particle) Therapy facility in the South Delhi Campus as the first such facility in the South-East Asia and as a National Resource Centre for precision treatment of difficult cancers. |
